This can be said for most things in life. How well something performs or operates, depends on how well it is built or how structurally sound it is.

 

The same goes for our bodies. Bodies that are hunched forward or are heavily compensated, work harder, they have more stress on joints, ligaments and muscles which makes them more prone to injuries as well as wear and tear. By restoring the frame underneath, it takes the pressure off of joints and muscles, allowing them to move and work more freely.

 

Bad posture can also heavily impact our cardiovascular system (heart and lungs), this is key to peak performance and can help massively with endurance.
